Description

The project aims to alleviate surface water flooding on Redcar Lane at Westy Bank Croft. The most recent flooding was in February 2022 and the road is susceptible to flooding every year. In addition to preventing flooding of the road, the proposed scheme will also protect several properties, which face the road. In brief, the works involve laying approximately 57m of DN375 flood relief pipe from Redcar Lane to a soakaway located to the rear of the properties at Westy Bank Croft. Full details of the scheme are set out within the ECSC contract document and associated drawings.
