Description

The National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) are suite of leadership development programmes for school leaders.
The Department for Education (DfE) and National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) convened top headteachers, MAT CEOs, and other sector experts to reform the NPQs to better prepare leaders for the range of leadership roles in today's school system.
We will shortly be inviting applications from those who wish to deliver the reformed qualifications, starting in the 2017 to 2018 academic year. Further information will be posted on the Contracts finder website. Please email NPQ.Reform@education.gov.uk if you would like to be alerted of this.
To support potential providers, in the weeks commencing 6 February and 13 February the DfE and NCTL will be hosting a series of provider information events for schools and other organisations interested in applying for accreditation to deliver one or more of the new NPQs. See 'Attachments' for further information.
