Description

There will soon be an upcoming procurement competition for the evaluation of the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF).

GCRF is an £1.5 billion fund announced in 2015 by the UK Government to support cutting edge-research that addresses the challenges faced by developing countries. BEIS is committed to undertaking a robust evaluation of the management and impact of the fund. An inception stage has taken place to develop a theory of change and provide advice on a possible evaluation strategy. The evaluation inception report can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/global-challenges-research-fund-gcrf-foundation-stage-evaluation.
We anticipate that the value of the contract for the evaluation will be between £2.5-£3million.

Full details of this requirement will only be shared with relevant Research Marketplace suppliers when the competition launches in late November. To be eligible to bid into this project you will need to be a registered supplier on Research Marketplace. After submitting your application, the Crown Commercial Service will assess your application and register you as a supplier. This may take up to 15 working days. This means that you need to complete your application to register by October 28th. Please follow this link to begin your application: https://supplierregistration.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/.
