Description

Provision, installation and management of twenty covered, secure, lockable cycle storage units providing year-round on-street weatherproof storage for at least six bicycles. In some locations it may be desirable that the units are branded with the Royal Borough of Kingston (RBK) "Go Cycle" logo.The successful supplier is required to retain the cycle storage units until locations and installation dates are confirmed.
Cycle storage unit locations will be installed in on-street locations within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. The majority of sites will be confirmed to the successful supplier by late spring 2020 and all units will need to be installed by the end of 2020.
Allocation of spaces to users, provision of keys and maintenance to be undertaken by supplier, funded by annual charge to users so that ongoing it is cost-neutral to the Council.
Cycle storage units remain the property of RBK.
The contract period is for an initial 2 years to cover supply, installation and administration. An option to extend the contract by one year subject to both parties agreement, to continue administration and maintenance.
