Description

Red Cross wishes to establish a contract for the provision of core textile recycling banks (60+) and overflow textile recycling banks (80+) including associated services with a suitably qualified and experienced Supplier.
The Goods and Services include, but are not limited to:
*Supply, delivery, installation of textile banks;
*Servicing, maintenance and cleaning of textile banks and site area;
*Regular collection and delivery to Red Cross sorting locations;
*Provision of an overflow service; and
*Pro-active management information and reporting, including data on the quantity of materials collected (tonnage data).
The provision of these Goods and Services are required by the Red Cross to fulfil an on-going Corporate Partnership with Tesco PLC. All textile banks will be located at various Tesco retail outlets in the South, South West, England and the Isle of Wight, throughout the Contract Term.
These textile banks will be used to source stock for Red Cross' Retail department. As well as providing; sourcing; and maintaining these textile banks, the Supplier will be responsible for the collection of these donated items and delivery to two regional Red Cross locations where sorting and grading will be undertaken by the Red Cross. The Supplier shall also provide an overflow service that compliments the main provision of the core textile banks and also provides resilience at busy sites.
