Description

The Recondition programme is aimed at restoring and repairing assets back to the condition they need to be in to carry out their flood risk management purpose.
It typically involves undertaking repair or replacement work to elements of flood risk assets such as earth embankments, river walls and revetments (concrete, brick, stone, timber), headwalls, sluice gates and structures, culverts, lined channels, pumping stations, etc. These assets can be engineered structures or historically developed defences.
The Recondition Programme has been created to meet this purpose.
