Description

Dacorum Borough Council (DBC) is tendering for a consultant checking engineer to assist the Building Control section by providing a range of services to the Councils building control section as identified in the specification. The scope of work will include both commercial and domestic building work to new build properties and extensions, loft conversions and alteration work to existing properties within the Borough.The majority of the work will be small domestic extensions, and new housing.

The consultant must be an Associate or Corporate Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers or the Institution of Civil Engineer for the staff in your company who will deliver this service. And will need to have previous experience of checking plans for building control purposes
