Description

• A laser diffraction particle sizing instrument to be used in the specialised Mineral Processing laboratory, which includes provision for the classification of mineral particles by size and the determination of particle size distributions. The main application of the instrument will be for the determination of particle size distributions for samples containing mixtures of minerals with varying refractive indices. The instrument will also be used for determining the size distribution of both inorganic and polymer powders. This device should be easy to maintain as well as clean to ensure there is no contamination between sample types.
