Description
Specific role:
- Oversight of key delivery factors affecting EU-GB delivery teams, coordination of actions and escalation to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordination of reporting requirements, such as weekly reporting to the DD & Senior Responsible Officer (SRO), reports that need to be issued the Portfolio office and wider
- Coordination and oversight of EUGB team project delivery plans, including milestone planning
- Driving and shaping EU project governance. This will include Project Boards, and involves setting the agenda, commissioning owners to produce updates and capturing key actions. However, it will also involve working on the set up / driving forward actions for other key meetings with stakeholders
- Responsible for risk management: Identify, monitor, and proactively manage project risks and issues. The post holder will take tangible action to ensure the risks and issues are identified, prioritised, assessed, and appropriate mitigating actions developed by relevant teams; the mitigating actions to also be incorporated into delivery project plans.
- Develop appropriate project performance and controls, e.g., dependency management and assumptions management and then working with teams to assess how this impacts on delivery
- Work with teams to co-ordinate engagement and communications (there will be specialist comms and engagement resources that will develop and undertake the communications and engagement activities)
- Supporting the implementation and consistency of project management standards and procedures within the EU-GB Imports delivery teams
