Description
The Sound & Vision project will transform the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford, creating new galleries that will inspire visitors and a permanent legacy that places the local community at the heart of the Museum. The COVID-19 pandemic has accentuated our global reliance on media technology, so there has never been a more relevant moment to reveal the pioneering inventions and ingenuity that led to the development of modern sound and visual digital technologies. Nor has there been a more urgent need to support those most affected by job losses or reduced employment in Bradford or those in need of skills development and a welcoming environment that reflects their histories and cultures.
The aim of this procurement process is to select a contractor to complete the design, supply and install onsite all of the exhibition setworks items. The budget for this contract is £1.5-£1.6m.
