Description

The service provider will be required to undertake the following activities in relation to the Residential Travel Plan
A) Develop and implement a Travel Plan including acting as Travel Plan Co-ordinator
B) Monitor the success of the Travel Plan
C) Deliver a package of measures to encourage use of sustainable modes such as Personalised Travel Planning, Bus Season Tickets and Cycle Vouchers (full details of package of proposed incentives to be set out in the prospective providers proposal). The cost of these incentives to be allowed for in the proposal
D) Prepare and distribute Travel Information Packs (and update residents of changes)
E) Liaise with the Developer, Local County and District Councillors and the Parish Council to keep them regularly informed of activities and progress
F) Promotion of local and national sustainable travel events to residents of the development
G) Report any relevant issues identified that need attention by the client
H) Undertake a baseline travel survey as soon as possible after award

The service provider will be required to undertake the following activities in relation to the School Travel Plans
A) Update and review the existing School Travel Plans (copies available on request) in conjunction with the schools with particular reference to current and future pupils from the Cold Pool Lane development
B) Work with the schools to assist with implementation of initiatives.
C) Offer and administer grants for installation of appropriate physical infrastructure at the schools, designed to encourage sustainable travel to school
D) Identify any Highway Infrastructure needed
