Description

Electronic Components and Associated Products; Test and Measurement Equipment; Oscilloscope; The Optical Communications Research Group (OCRG) at Northumbria University specialises in visible light communications, non-linear control systems and optical sensor research. The group is undertaking pioneering work on designing, building and testing a novel, high-speed (1.5 GHz), miniaturised, Free Space Optical Communications (FSOC) terminal for small satellites (CubeSats). As part of the continued development of our state-of-the-art optical communication research facilities, we are now seeking to procure a high-speed oscilloscope that can allow us to characterise the high-speed (1.5 GHz) laser communications channel for the CubeSat terminal development, as well as support all the other ongoing research projects.
