Description
The project is the removal and replacement of the electrical and lighting installations within Shooters Grove Primary School. Works comprise of a full re-wire, including upgrades to the existing electric supply, and equipment replacement of small power, lighting (both internal and external), distribution board systems and intruder alarm system. Alteration works will also be required to the existing fire alarm system and access controls and lightning protection installation as well as all associated builders work.
Some of the works are required to be completed during the school summer holiday (see Pre-Construction Information within Appendix F of the tender documentation and drawing EL(06)013 for information regarding the phasing of the works). The remainder of the works will be completed during the school term time when the building is fully functioning and occupied. Therefore, all areas of work must be made clear and segregated from occupied areas to ensure no access to the works is possible by any building user.
