Description
Leicestershire County Council's Public Health department are seeking to procure an evidence-based online peer-support service to deliver targeted intervention to support and improve the mental wellbeing of Men over the age of 18-years in Leicestershire;
a. The service will provide a digital intervention for Men in Leicestershire that will seek to identify and challenge the stigma that is associated with Men seeking help to support their mental wellbeing; the platform will reduce feelings of loneliness and social isolation; it will address mental wellbeing concerns that started, or have been made worse, by the COVID-19 pandemic.
b. The Provider will also be responsible for delivering a comprehensive marketing campaign that will engage Men who may have poor mental wellbeing and may otherwise not seek support; the campaign will encourage and facilitate the attendance at peer support groups; The Provider will ensure that all Men in Leicestershire have the opportunity to participate in activities known to reduce feeling of stigma and protect mental wellbeing.
