Description

Invitations to quote are being sought for completion of a Strategic Housing Market Assessment for Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough and Stoke-on-Trent City Councils.
The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) requires local planning authorities to ensure that their Local Plans are based on adequate, up-to-date and relevant evidence about the economic, social and environmental characteristics and prospects of the area.
Newcastle under Lyme Borough and Stoke-On-Trent City Councils are seeking to commission a joint Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA) which will form a fundamental part of the evidence base for the progression and implementation of the emerging Joint Local Plan for the two areas.
