Description

Kirklees Council are seeking information from providers with the ability to perform groundwork services and/or environment surveys to inform future procurement exercises in relation to the White Rose Forest Partnership.

The Questionnaire can be accessed using this link https://forms.office.com/r/3GF6SJix0J

Kirklees Council is the accountable body for the White Rose Forest (WRF) partnership. The Partnership is a local authority based joint venture agreement with 36 signatories including DEFRA organisations, national, regional, local charities, and social enterprises. The joint venture covers North and West Yorkshire.

The WRF is a community forest and looks to promote the expansion of community forestry across the region. The WRF Delivery Pathway (DP) offers a bespoke service to landowners, their agents and WRF Partners (signatories to the WRF joint venture) to facilitate the process from initial interest though to delivery of new woodland.

This process does not constitute a formal tender or other competitive bidding process and will not result in the letting of a Contract. The Council are using this process solely to test the market to gather information and ascertain the level of interest in this service. There are therefore no formal criteria which we will use to judge your responses, and it is not the intention to provide any feedback.
