Description
The awarding Authority is seeking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) with an approved list ofhigh quality and committed providers with whom it can work in partnership with, to achieve the best possibleoutcomes for residents in the Borough that require the following 4 Lots of Tier 4 Drug and Alcohol Placements-Lot 1 - Residential detoxification with residential rehabilitation or structured day programme services (drugsand/or alcohol), Lot 2 - Residential rehabilitation and quasi-residential rehabilitation services (inclusive of firststage, second stage and aftercare for abstinent drugs and/or alcohol), Lot 3 - Non-residential structured dayprogrammes services (abstinent drugs and/or alcohol) and Lot 4 - Residential detoxification, stabilisation andassisted withdrawal services (drugs and/or alcohol).
The awarding Authority's vision is for an approved list of high quality, outcomes focused providers supplying arange of high quality, safe, person centred, evidence based and best value for money services. These serviceswill offer choice to enable placements to be aligned with presenting needs and will seek to maximise positivetreatment outcomes as well as to improve the health, wellbeing and life chances of complex drug and/or alcoholdependent service users who are unable to be effectively managed through engagement with Tier 3 services.
Residential drug and/or alcohol treatment forms an integral part of the local treatment system and the awardingAuthority seeks to appoint a number of Providers of residential and non-residential structured day provision tomeet the needs of complex dependent adult drug and/or alcohol users. All services being commissioned arenon-substance specific and Providers that can offer services to account for a range of substances and drug and/or alcohol treatment needs are sought.
