The new Isle of Man ferry terminal project in Liverpool will involve design and construction of works in a variety of engineering disciplines including:
- ground works and remediation,
- building construction,
- building services,
- civil engineering
- highways and
- marine engineering.
The service will be provided in two periods:
- on-site construction works.
- post completion of the construction works.
The NEC Site Supervisor will be expected to have knowledge and experience in one or more of the above disciplines and have his/her technical competence acknowledged by a recognised professional body for example:
- The Institution of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology
- The Institution of Civil Engineers,

The successful tenderer will be responsible for providing the service with a named individual performing the role of the NEC Site Supervisor.
