Description

A consultant is required to work with the University of Southampton and in particular, members of the University Executive Board (UEB) leadership team both on an individual and collective basis to provide an independent sounding board for leadership challenges and ideas as well as focusing on personal leadership development for individual members of the UEB. The University seeks a named individual to provide ongoing support who will build meaningful relationships with the UEB leadership team.

In addition, the University's Portfolio Office leadership team require support to deliver the continuous improvement and effectiveness of the Portfolio Office and how it adds value to the organisation.

Location of Goods/Service Delivery
The services are to be delivered to: University of Southampton but it is envisaged that engagement will be remote via Microsoft Teams, unless agreed with the consultant.

Contract Term
The University proposes to enter into a Contract for four (4) years - this will be the maximum contract period, including any potential extensions with the successful tenderer.
This will comprise of an initial contract period of two (2) years with an option to extend by a further two (2) years subject to satisfactory performance and at the discretion of the University.

Contract Value
The estimated value of the initial two year contract term is in the region of £45,000 to £55,000 GBP (excluding VAT).
The estimated value of the two year extension period is £45,000 to £55,000 GBP (excluding VAT).
It is estimated, therefore, that the total value of this contract will be between £90,000 and £110,000 GBP (excluding VAT).

The University is utilising an electronic tendering tool, In-Tend (https://intendhost.co.uk/ universityofsouthampton) to manage this procurement and to communicate with potential suppliers and/or tenderers (as appropriate).
