This appointment is to make an initial assessment of feasibility on a range of development options following the collation of inputs from key stakeholders at two one-day workshops:

1. Retain the current building and carry out extensive alterations, refurbishment and extensions with enhanced site extents.
2. Build a new Conference Centre on the current site with enhanced site extents.
3. Build a new Conference Centre on a different site.

The appointed lead consultant will work closely with the Project Team to produce a robust, well researched and imaginative report (RIBA Stages 0 & 1) in the timeline laid down within this brief.
The work must be of sufficient detail to allow BCP Council to choose an option to progress into RIBA Stage2.
Once the selected option has been approved by BCP the consultant will produce RIBA Stage 2 report.
