Description

The Newcastle Partnership requires a service to work with families, in specific communities in Newcastle who have issues relating to financial inclusion and debt management. This is a key aspect of the whole family approach. We are seeking a provider to work closely with key workers across the Partnership by providing financial inclusion support to families regardless of whether they are already supported by professionals.
The service will deliver:
- Targeted localised financial inclusion support
- Regulated debt advice
- Guidance and access to financial products and services
- Improve access to, and support with digital services
- Specific help and support on issues relating to fuel and furniture poverty
- Practical support to enable families to sustain their accommodation
- Benefit advice
- Budgeting and money management
- Support to get best value with household bills
- Support with education, employment and training
- Contribution to preventative financial inclusion inputs to young people
- Prepare and support households where appropriate at County Court, Magistrates Court especially if they are self-representing
- Up to date, accurate and detailed case records for each household within the prescribed areas
- Provide a visible presence across the Borough to offer support, awareness and education on financial inclusion and debt management issues.
