Description

Resource for task and embedded support for the National Waste Programme in various tasks. The objective of the NWP is to drive delivery of effective and optimised LLW management practice across the UK to deliver cost savings, enable mission delivery and avoid the need for a second LLWR; this is delivered as part of the overarching IWMP. The IWMP is a pan-industry programme working collaboratively to deliver effective and optimised integrated waste management over the whole waste lifecycle, in a safe, sustainable, timely and cost-effective manner. Task and embedded support is to support both NWP and IWMP activity. The contract is 12 months with the option to extend for 36 months on a 1+1+1 basis.
