Description

The Authority require an awarding organisation for the registration of qualifications that form part of our Ambulance Career Path
Some of these qualifications are a mandatory requirement of the ASW (Ambulance Support Worker) and AAP (Associate Ambulance Practitioner) apprenticeship. 

The Qualifications required are:    

Level 3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (CERAD) inclusive of pathways for DCA and RRV. Emergency Ambulance and Response Car.  

Level 3 Certificate in Ambulance Patient Care: Urgent Care Services          (CAPCUCS)  

Level 4 Diploma in Associate Ambulance Practitioner (AAP) 

Level 3 Award in Patient Care Services: Ambulance Driving (APCSAD) 

Level 4 Diploma in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving Instruction 

The provider shall be regulated by Ofqual as an awarding organisation for the approved qualification
