Description
The West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) is seeking a single supplier or consortium of suppliers to provide a new public transport data management system to replace its current existing single system.
The Combined Services and Assets (CoSA) system and database was established in 1999 and is a purpose-built database with Geographical Information System (GIS) functionality. CoSA is a central single data hub which is vital in enabling WYCA to process public transport information to feed multiple outputs, manage assets across the public transport network and manage transport operations.
CoSA receives data from several sources including Bus Service Registrations, Electronic Bus Service Registrations and Operator information.
The contract will be awarded for an Initial period of 4 years with an optional 6 x 12-month extensions.
