Description

Birmingham City Council (the Council) wishes to invite potential suppliers to submit quotations for the provision of planning consultancy work in connection with an upcoming public Inquiry for development of 950 dwellings at North Worcestershire Golf Course.

The contract will be for a period of 12 months commencing 16th February 2018 until 15th February 2019.

1. Represent the City Council in a planning consultancy role, running the Council's case in partnership with the Council's witnesses and Council appointed counsel
2. Attendance at relevant conferences with Counsel
3. Meetings with officers to fines strategy
4. Production of a Proof of Evidence. Attendance at, and act as Expert Witness for BCC at, the Public Inquiry as the Planning witness. Internal BCC expert witnesses will be fielded for the relevant fields of interest
