Description
Commissioning stage - Expressions of Interest are being sought for the Parent Liaison Service for the Borough of Calderdale.
The service will provide independent support to parents, carers and families to safeguard children and young people at risk of or being sexually or criminally exploited. This service will offer: • One-to-one support for parents/carers whose children are being exploited in an independent, non-judgmental, and confidential way, helping to find the best solution and build the resilience needed to exit this form of abuse. • Work with Partner Agencies - the project will work within the Calderdale multi-agency framework, to share relevant information, and to contribute to the close working processes of the relevant teams. • Training on Child Exploitation and its impact on parents and carers for professional groups, voluntary and statutory agencies and other appropriate groups.
