Description

The Contracting Authority are seeking to procure the of a minimum of one fibre seed source for use in a high energy laser amplifier system as part of the Extreme Photonics and Applications Centre (EPAC) Project.

The tender documentation describes the technical specification for Tender Reference PR20019 to provide a fibre seed source that is capable of producing shaped ns-pulses to seed an ytterbium:YAG laser amplifier chain capable of producing 150J at 10Hz at the output.
