Instead of: DVLA will later this year be conducting a retender process to select a supplier(s) to provide ongoing enforcement activities and vehicle disposal services. DVLA is tendering for two separate provisions. The first is for unlicensed vehicle clamping, removal, sale at auction and associated admin services. The second is for non-compliant vehicle detection and reporting via ANPR technology. Both services are UK wide and manage significant volumes of transactions for the DVLA. The current volume of Wheel clamping actions per year is in excess of 115k. DVLA would like to hold Innovation Days later in July and August 2017, which will focus on new/innovative solutions for Wheel clamping and ANPR provision.
