Description

University of Chester is seeking to appoint one or more Contractor(s) to provide grounds and gardens maintenance services for various University sites.

This opportunity is split into 3 lots reflecting the different requirements or locations of the sites, as detailed within the procurement documents:-

Lot 1 - Thornton Science Park
Lot 2 - Queen's Park Campus
Lot 3 - Kingsway Buildings, Blacon Sports Pitch, Glenesk Field

The contract is initially for a period of 3 years, with the option to extend for up to one period of 12 months subject to satisfactory performance.

University of Chester may appoint one or more contractors to service one or more lots, whilst reserving the right not to award for any of the lots.

Tenderers may tender for just one lot, a number of lots or all lots.

Additional Information:

1: Envisaged minimum number of candidates is 5 across total 3 lots.
2: CPV codes reflect requirements across total 3 lots.
3: Project value estimated at GBP90,000.00 per annum, across total 3 lots; GBP270,000 for initial 3 year term, excluding potential extension options.

No guarantee can therefore be given regarding the volume of business placed with any appointed contractor/s.

This opportunity has also been submitted for publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

Dates and values provided are estimated and are therefore subject to change, (excluding any potential extension options). The minimum value given is approximated should only one of the three potential lots be awarded for a term of 3 years.
