Description

We are planting 4,500 trees into public grass verges alongside Ermin Street in winter 2024. Also 7000 flower bulbs, which have to go into the ground October latest. We are also creating and improving wildflower areas.

This groundworks contract is to modify the grass verges to enable the planting works. It involves importing large amounts of soil, reprofiling land and digging planting pits through tarmac. Also a few other general landscaping tasks to improve the access.

This is an open procurement process. The client is Blunsdon Parish Council. We act as their land management consultant organising the work. Once we have received sufficient quotes we will present our results and recommendations to the parish council, who will choose their contractor. We will then oversee the works to completion.

We will award the contract to any company who is able to deliver within our required timeframe. We want the work done by early October. Price is also important of course but is not the foremost consideration.

We will only work with companies we believe can deliver very high quality results in a timely, safe and professional manner.
