Description
The British Council is seeking a single supplier to undertake an impact evaluation of its programmes focused on developing the English language within education systems.
The British Council's English Programmes department (previously known as 'English for Education Systems' - EES) uses mutually beneficial partnerships between the UK and overseas countries to support education systems that support inclusive, quality teaching, learning and assessment of English.
English Programmes recognises that many factors influence positive change within education systems, and that, given the scale of the ambition and funding required, our interventions are just one of many factors that can influence positive change. Nevertheless, we seek to assess our contribution to change on the systems and the teaching and learning process that our interventions interact with.
The work of the British Council's English Programmes department is organised through an Impact Area and Global Programmes structure.
