Description

The Trust is looking for proposals for the supply of manual blood grouping and red cell antibody screening and identification equipment, reagents and consumables (controls).

Methodology used must be direct agglutination for blood grouping and indirect antiglobulin testing for red cell antibody screening.

To assess its options bidders are requested to provide responses in the form of:

1. capital purchase & consumable
2. reagent rental/lease proposals

The Trust requires full delivery, installation and commissioning of equipment prior to 27.03.2020 and expects bidders to provide details of how this can be achieved.

Following this initial procurement, the Trust may consider at a later stage adding this contract into an existing Managed Service contract, and it's asking bidders to advise if this would present any issues with the proposals submitted.

The contract period is to be for a period of minimum 5 years with an anticipated start date of 01.04.2020, and with an option to extend for 2 further periods of 1 year each.

The estimated value of the annual contract is £43,000.00.
