Description
Leicester City Council invites Tenders for the provision of coordinated voluntary Family Support..
The Service Provider will recruit, train, coordinate and supervise volunteers to provide support to families where a child has been identified by the Leicester access to resource panel (LARP), Early Help Hub (EHH) arrangements and multi-agency support panel (MASP) as being at high risk of coming into care, entered the care system within the last six weeks or immediate risks are apparent that, if not addressed could result in harm being caused to the child. The cohort of children and young people referred to the service will be those where neglect, substance misuse, behaviour and physical abuse are likely to be the main factors identified by the panel that if addressed will ensure a child may remain at or return home with support.
The proposed Contract will be for one year with an option to extend for a further year. We anticipate awarding to a single Supplier.
