Description
The City of Wolverhampton Council, wishes to develop 43Nr new dwellings at Burton Crescent and construct a new meeting room extension to the rear of 27 Burton Crescent. The City of Wolverhampton Council is an Investment Partner with the HCA for the provision of affordable housing. The aim of this project is to deliver new council housing on a site at Burton Crescent, Heath Town Ward, Wolverhampton, for management by Springfield Horseshoe Housing Management Co-Operative. The contract will comprise the design, erection and completion of 43 new dwellings of affordable tenure, together with site preparation, mains drainage installation, electricity, gas, water and telephone services as well as associated external works and landscaping. The proposed development is to be 100% affordable housing for rent and the construction of an office extension types which include houses, sheltered accommodation, bungalows and low level apartments. It is the intention of the City of Wolverhampton Council to let a contract for the delivery of these works to a single supplier utilising the JCT Design and Build 2016.
