Description

NOTE: This notice was updated on 13 November 2019 for the following reason: For operational reasons this Project has been cancelled and will not be re-tendered in this form any time in the future.(The OFD Loch Striven does not have an F76 fuel filtering system on site and the present pumping system requires the use of the Balance Tank. However, the Balance Tank has been removed from service and decommissioned rendering the existing F76 transfer pumps obsolete.
In order to increase the flexibility of the site, there is a requirement to pump between tanks to allow for the complete inter-tank transfers of certain storage tanks. There is also a future requirement to filter off-specification F-76 fuel to allow re-use. In summary, this project is for disinvestment of old pumping system, removal for safe disposal and reimbursement to OPA, installation (including some design responsibilities) of two new electric driven pumps for tank to tank transfer and filtering of diesel, operated by variable speed drives.)
