Description

The Isle of Man Government invites expressions of interest from experienced and competent providers to deliver a support service for individuals referred by the Mental Health Service for Adults (which operates a step up /down service) The successful tenderer will work in partnership with public sector provision to enhance the recovery of those with mental health problems ranging from high intensity to low intensity community support.

Level 1: High Priority - Intensive Support - 399 hours of support worker time per week.
Patients identified by the MHS as having complex needs and as a result subject to the Care Programme Approach. Patients will have a history of significant risk of relapse and repeated admission to hospital as a result of mental ill health, including placement with UK providers in some cases.
The Provider will offer a Day Treatment facility to offer a wide range of psychosocial therapeutic activities as well as run weekly depot clinics. Appropriate premises will need to be sourced to accommodate this service.
Level 2: Medium Priority - 150 hours of support worker time per week.
Patients identified by the MHS as subject to CPA provisions and as having limited support networks.
Support at this level will be deemed as less intensive with a maximum of 3 interventions per week required, and detailed in individual care plans.
Level 3: Low Priority - 22.5 hours of support worker time per week.
Patients who have been in receipt of Level 1 or Level 2 support previously who no longer require intervention from a Community Mental Health Professional as Care Coordinator, but may still require / receive support from other services at lower steps in strategy.
