Brief Description of Requirement
The Meteorological Operational (MetOp) satellite programme is a joint operation by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (Eumetsat) to provide weather data services to monitor the climate and to improve weather forecasts.
MetOp-A was launched in 2006 with MetOp-B following in 2012 and the C version is being built by the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory's Space Division.
The three satellites provide a continuous delivery of high-quality data for medium- and long-term weather forecasting and climate monitoring until 2020.
The requirement RE17094 is for Huber + Suhner Astrolab connectors to the specification of 29109-V15-001 only. No alternatives will be accepted.

This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.

Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so.
Once you have registered on the eSourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest for a specific procurement. This is done by emailing expressionofinterest@crowncommercial.gov.uk.
Your email must clearly state:

Crown Commercial Service will process the email and then enable the Bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite.
