Description
Norfolk County Council has been awarded grant funding by the Department for Work and Pensions and Department for Health & Social Care (DHSC) to participate in the Individual Placement and Support in Primary Care initiative. The project is called Working Well Norfolk (WW - Norfolk) and the aim of WW - Norfolk is to support people with disabilities in to, and to stay in, work.
This contract is for an Activity Delivery Partner (ADP) to deliver WW - Norfolk across the county, in accordance with the funding terms set out by the DWP. This will enable the continued growth of the Individual Placement Support (IPS) model of supported employment services.
Norfolk County Council (NCC) has procured a lead provider to deliver the WW - Norfolk service for Norfolk residents. The service, funded by the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP), will provide support for 1100 Norfolk residents between 1 October 2023 and 31 March 2025. The contract was let on a fixed budget, and as such price was not evaluated in this procurement.
The WW - Norfolk service will sit within the NCC Growth and Development suite of programmes and delivery and is expected to take place in co-locations within a range of primary and community NHS health services and professionals.
Participants will come from two distinct cohorts:
o Out of work participants who require assistance and support to move into competitive employment; and
o In work participants who are off sick or struggling in the workplace due to their disability / health condition.
