Description
Sheffield City Council are looking for a training provider or company who can deliver external training to Council Housing staff. The training is to cover the specific requirements of delivering an authority's duties on the Homeless Reduction Act and the Domestic Abuse Bill. The course should cover, legal requirements, required approved authority standards; including how to complete a Personal Housing Plan and what constitutes a model standard of service to customers who are considered under the Homeless reduction act and the Domestic abuse bill. The course must not be more than 3-5 days long and must be delivered virtually over a 1, 2 or 3-week period. The course needs to be delivered before the end of October 2021. The course is originally a one-off course, however tackling homelessness is a priority for Sheffield City Council and more staff will be employed and redeployed to the homeless section. This will likely lead to repeat courses being purchased in the future. Electronic handouts, good practice guides and course notes must be distributed to the staff who attend the course for their future reference. As this course will be virtual the course can be delivered to multiple attendees, however attendees will not exceed more than 20 people at a time to ensure that all attendees absorb the information in a concise and measured way. A multiple-choice test at the end of the course would be desired to confirm all attendees have obtained a level of competency. The purpose of all the above is to build a Quality Assurance Framework to ensure our customers are being managed within the tolerances of the Homeless reduction act and the Domestic abuse bill. Suppliers are invited to pitch their product to Sheffield City Council via a virtual 1-hour presentation. A virtual "meet the buyer session" will be arranged to ensure providers are clear about the bidding process and the Councils ask of them. Contact information will be provided upon request by the supplier once intent to respond has been registered.
