Description

The maintenance of Flood Risk Assets located within the geographical boundaries of the East Riding of Yorkshire. The contract has been split into 2 lots, based on the work types;

Lot 1 Jetting and CCTV Works - £135k per annum, £705k over 5 years. This includes a provisional sum of £35k per annum for additional works for other departments
There is also a separate provisional sum of £30k for inflation over the lifetime of the contract.

• Jetting and CCTV investigations of Watercourse, and Highway culverts.
• Cleaning of Highway interceptors.
• Cleaning and investigation of Highway soak-aways.

Lot 2 Grounds Maintenance of Flood Risk Assets - £100k per annum, £530k over 5 years
There is also a separate provisional sum of £30k for inflation over the lifetime of the contract. - currently 70% reactive and 30% Planned

One supplier will be appointed to each lot.

Tenderers are invited to bid for one or more lots and may be appointed to one or more lots if successful up to a maximum of two lots; however the Council reserves the right not to appoint a single tenderer to more than one lot if the financial status or response to selection or other award criteria of the tenderer is deemed inadequate to deliver the anticipated workload. In such a scenario the tenderer will be consulted as part of any determination as to which Lot(s) the Tenderer may be selected for.

If a contractor has insufficient turnover, a bond or guarantee may be required.

Tenderers must indicate in Volume 3 Tender Submission which lots they wish to apply for.

Successful Tenderers may be required to carry out work/services at any location within the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The Council is unable to guarantee this value or any volume of work. The tenderer must make whatever investigations/enquiries deemed necessary to ascertain a fully inclusive tender capable of fulfilling the specified requirements.
