Description

Woodwalton Fen National Nature Reserve is a wet Fenland site to the South of Peterborough. The site is managed for conservation by Natural England (NE). The site has a number of bridges mainly for vehicles to cross the ditches that are cut through the managed land and these have a program of replacement. Natural England are seeking the delivery of 4 replacement bridges or culverts. The bridges/culverts will need to be of sound construction to enable safe crossing of machinery up to 20 tonnes. They will need to have an element of modular design to enable construction by site staff. The bridges will need to have a long life span and evidence of this should be provided.
