Description
The resurfacing of Carfax Street, Carfax Close and Merton Street on the Kimmerfields development in central Swindon, works will also include the installation of new kerbing to create a new turn head and completion of a new section of road.
Kimmerfields - Site Infrastructure
Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of site infrastructure works at the Kimmerfields Development in Swindon Town Centre.
Project Description
The Kimmerfields infrastructure works are the first stage of the redevelopment of the Kimmerfields development, a major redevelopment which will provide mixed-use development including offices, residential, shops, restaurants & cafes, drinking establishments, public realm and associated highways works when complete.
This tender is to procure a Contractor to carry out the the install of new road surfacing including the kerbing and tuning head to enable Zurich to access their new headquarter building.
The improvements to Kimmerfields will help achieve the Council's priority to: improve infrastructure and housing to support a growing, low-carbon economy, offer that lead to the right jobs in the right places.
It is proposed that works are to commence onsite in July 2022 The estimated cost of these works is £600k

To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. Contract Period
The contract will be approximately for a period of 3 months commencing 11th July 2022 with the options to extend as per the contract terms and conditions.
