Description

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the Contracting Authority intends to invite tenders for a framework
agreement for the supply of fuels to central government organisations and the wider public sector
across the UK, including Northern Ireland. This will be carried out by the Open Procedure and tenders
will be accepted in English only. The framework will include but may not be limited to heating oil,
automotive fuel, marine fuel, aviation fuel, biomass fuels, solid fuel and liquefied petroleum gas. CCS are
also considering the inclusion of associated services such as tank cleaning and maintenance, fuel testing,
lubes and greases, fuel additives, tank metering and telemetry and any other associated services.
The exact details of the requirement, contractual arrangements and whether these requirements will be
split into further lots has yet to be decided.
The values noted below are estimated and for guidance purposes only. These estimates are based on an
approximation of potential public sector and are based on current demand via CCS arrangements. The
estimates provided do not factor in potential future increase or decrease in requirements.
