Description
Thurrock Council are looking for an experienced event provider to deliver a series of COVID safe celebration events in five key locations around the borough. The council will not prescribe the nature of the events but are looking for creative approaches, designed by the event organiser to meet the objectives of this brief. All events will require review and approval before being undertaken.
'Safe Celebration Event' is a broad term to cover any type of activity that encourages visitors into a place in a COVID safe manner, with a view to increasing footfall and ultimately enhancing the local economy while improving on perceptions of the area and safety in general.
Evaluation and reporting will play a key role in this project and as such we are looking for a provider that has a history of or is capable of reporting on the level of engagement and satisfaction of those that attend the event, including total visitors to the area during the event as well as the opinions of surrounding businesses.
The key deliverable areas are: Grays, Tilbury, South Ockendon, Stanford-Le-Hope and Corringham (primarily the town centre locations for each area).
This is a Welcome Back Fund project which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
