Description
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (the Authority), represented by the British Embassy in Mexico City, seeks to appoint one Service Supplier for the implementation of a Trade Non-Official Development Assistance (non-ODA) project in Mexico entitled Harvesting Opportunities: Matching the UK's Agri-Tech supply to Mexico's Agricultural demand.
The Service Supplier (the Supplier) will deliver a clear, robust and evidenced based study to identify United Kingdom (UK) Agri-Tech companies interested in the Mexican Market. It will highlight potential entry opportunities in the sector, as well as current and potential market access barriers for UK companies. The study should match those with potential projects or opportunities in Mexico's agricultural landscape. The final deliverable will include a detailed strategic plan for the Embassy over the next 5 years. This study will increase the ability of the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) to identify business/commercial opportunities in Mexico for UK companies in the Agri-Tech sector, and work alongside the Agri, Food & Drink Attaché and Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) to identify and unlock market access issues.
Details to the project and documentation can be provided by emailing AME.PROCUREMENT2@FCDO.GOV.UK. Please ensure to provide project title and project code when sending the inquiry. Project reference CPG/10023/2023.
