Our vision is to provide a safer future by managing radioactive waste effectively, to protect people and the environment, and our mission is to deliver a UK Geological Disposal Facility (GDF) and provide radioactive waste management solutions.
Through engagement with NDA's Site Licence Companies (SLCs) and other waste packagers, via the Disposability Assessments Process, RWM is in the unique position of being able to oversee and influence the management of Higher Activity Waste (HAW) by identifying opportunities and sharing best practice.
RWM welcomes expressions of interest in advance of a supplier day to be held in October in respect of the provision of specialist technical support services associated with the delivery of its processes associated with:

- Disposability Assessment
- Waste Package Records Approvals
- Periodic Review and Assurance

These services are provided to radioactive waste producers across the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority estate and wider U.K. industry.

Successful bidders will be expected to be able to demonstrate a track record in the delivery of technical, engineering and safety focussed outputs, against controlled procedures to agreed standards of time, cost and quality.
The aim of this Framework is to provide fast, streamlined access to a range of suitably qualified and experienced specialist resources and services to support delivery of all aspects of the Disposability Assessment and Waste Package Assurance Programme. It is expected Framework Agreement will commence in March 2020 with a maximum total value of services to be procured across all Lots is c£5,000,000 -£7,000,000.
