Description

The University is inviting tenders on the terms set out in the ITT to deliver the scheme which involves; relocating staff and students from the County Main building to the LICA building (Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Arts). In order to facilitate the move, it will be necessary to construct new cellular offices to the C floor and alter existing offices to the B floor of LICA. The works will also involve the provision of new lighting and data, and the alteration and upgrading of power. Some new furniture is specified. The contractor would also need to provide a move management solution, to include providing crates, a programme, and a schedule for moving people from one building to the other, including furniture and possessions.

The location of the site is Bailrigg Campus, Lancaster, LA1 4YW.
This tender is not lotted. One contractor will be awarded the full package of work.
The successful tenderer/contractor awarded such a contract must be fully available to mobilise 17th December 2018 so as to commence work on site on 14th January 2019 with practical completion by 1st March 2019.

The University will host an accompanied site visit on Tuesday 6th November 2018 @ 11am (1.5 hours duration)
