Description
The Crick intends to engage with suppliers for the provision of guided learning in a variety of appropriate environments to cover the technical aspects for achieving the range of Apprenticeship frameworks i.e. classroom based workshops, in the work place coaching and assessment. This will include the competence and knowledge elements of all the selected programmes. The aim of the tender is to attract high calibre of candidates as a potential source of future scientists, professional managers and leaders across the sector, and at the same time, demonstrate social responsibility. The program will help develop professionals to consistently meet the Crick's expectations regarding behaviours and competencies. The successful apprentices will achieve qualifications (Apprenticeship Frameworks or Standards) most suited to the job role they undertake at Level 2, to Level 7. This Scheme will be open to all individuals who are 16 years old and over, who have achieved GCSE grades A*-C or certified equivalent in Maths, English, and other specified subjects such as ICT and personal thinking skills. In addition there will be internal candidates drawn from the existing staff complement who will be invited to engage with the Apprenticeship training (to be called Professional Training) offer where appropriate.
