Description

It is the intention of Sunderland City Council (SCC) to award contracts to a Main Contractor to carry out improvement works to the coastal features in the Roker/Seaburn area The requirement can be broken down into a number of separate areas, as follows: Recreation Park ground reinforcement new heavy duty tarmac pathway (to allow vehicular access) installation of power plug in points at various locations installation of new iron gate and associated metalwork soft landscaping works High Cliffe Park new tarmac pathway new feature paving restoration of historic paving restoration of historic railing feature up-lighting The works are to be delivered in a phased process. A supplier briefing event will be held on 11th February 2016 at Sunderland Civic Centre, Committee Room 6 commencing at 2.00pm. Should you wish to attend you should confirm your intention to attend the briefing to andrew.raft@sunderland.gov.uk The event will provide potential Bidders the opportunity to meet the Council and gain a further understanding of the opportunity and the procurement process. Please note that although attendance is recommended, it is not mandatory.
