Description

Thornbridge Outdoors is Sheffield City Council's Educational Outdoor Centre that is based in Derbyshire near Bakewell (post code DE45 1NY). We have a total of 90 beds over 4 accommodation buildings along with 4 meeting spaces and an additional kitchen and dining room. Our customers are able to stay for 1 night up to 7 nights, although we do have occasional bookings that stay for longer. Each customer will bring between approximately 10 and 140 people. Many of our customers choose to self cater but we offer our customers several different catering options.
Last financial year we had approximately 40 customers that required catering during their stay and we spent approximately £34,000. We are looking for more than one catering provider so we can always meet the needs of our customers and provide cover. The volume of catering needed is totally dependant on the requests from our customers and will be equally shared out between providers. If dates/work offered cannot be accommodated, we will offer it to one of the other providers (the dates will not be replaced).
